Your Agreement to Integrity
By showing up here, you’re agreeing to be part of something bigger — a space rooted in respect, empathy, and accountability.Breaking this Code of Conduct means you may lose access to the community, resources, or events — with no refunds or exchanges. We protect the space so others can rise in it.
This is a supportive space, not the Hunger Games.
This community was created as a soft place to land during a hard season. To keep it safe, real, and helpful for everyone, we ask that you follow a few non-negotiables:
- Kindness is always the baseline.
You don't need to sugarcoat things - but if your feedback can't be kind and constructive, don't hit send.
- Confidentiality is sacred.
What's shared here stays here. No screenshots. No "you wouldn't believe what someone posted." Ask for permission before you share anyone else's story - even the inspiring ones.
- If your post helps you more than it helps them, it doesn’t belong here.
Job seekers are already navigating enough uncertainty—this isn’t the place to sell to them. No cold pitches, no stealth offers, no “just thought you might be interested…” links. If it smells more like self-promotion than support, it probably doesn’t belong. Job seekers have enough spam in their inboxes—let’s keep this space refreshingly pitch-free.
- Keep it professional-ish.
We love a good F-bomb when the vibes are right, but hate speech, harassment, or creepy behavior will get you kicked out faster than a recruiter ghosting after the third interview.
- Assume good intent, but call out bad behavior.
We’re all doing our best, often while exhausted, discouraged, or on our last emotional spoon. Give each other grace, ask questions before reacting, and clarify instead of escalating. Empathy is a two-way street—and boundaries are welcome passengers. That being said, stand up, protect each other and don't let someone be a jerk.
- Be transparent about AI generated content.
Yes, AI is here. Yes, it’s helpful. Yes, we use it too—our Career Story Tool runs on a bit of human insight and a bit of robot magic.
So if you’re sharing content that’s been crafted or assisted by AI, just be up front about it. No judgment—we’re all looking for ways to save time, write faster, and make sense of resume brain fog. Just don’t pass it off as purely your own if it isn’t.
- Moderators are kind, but not afraid to ban.
We lead with compassion, but let’s be clear: if someone’s making this space feel unsafe, toxic, or spammy—they’re out.
No drama, no debate.
Also, a little life advice? The person you’re chatting with today might be your boss, coworker, or hiring manager tomorrow. So act sharp, stay respectful, and don’t burn bridges you might need to cross.
And just to be crystal clear: this isn’t a dating app. We know the job hunt can feel like online dating—awkward profiles, ghosting, and all—but keep it professional.
